2018 Happenings
At Erico, we have many varied interests, but in particular, we are a group that loves to support local musicians, since so many of our staff play in bands around town. So we have joined forces with Sofar Sounds in Denver as a host for local performances. It has been a great partnership and we look forward to hosting many more performances to come. You can sign up on the Sofar website to learn about these "secret" concerts and a chance to listen to great music while hanging out in our cool warehouse setting.
When the snow flies in February, team Erico tries to head for the hills and warm weather. This year was no exception as our Triumph Specialist, Kurt, rode to Moab to test out the new models and kick up some dirt.
And while Kurt was gettin' busy in Utah, John traveled to the other side of the globe to explore the hills of Northern Vietnam. Leaving no stone or noodle bowl unturned, he ventured into the remote hills on Honda CRF 250 and managed to live to tell the tale.
As the season was just getting started, Triumph rolled into Denver with their ATLAK semi-trailer, ready to show us the latest and greatest off-road offerings from their 2018 lineup.tale.
And just as things started heating up, Erico announced the launch of the new and improved Ericomotorsports.com and our new Sales Manager, David Mack! Both of which are very technically sound and very good looking!.
Erico once again rode in support of all of our gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered friends and family in the 2018 Gay Pride Parade.
The Beldocks loaded up the car this Summer and headed out on an epic road trip through the midwest that ended in New York City where they deposited Penn on the steps of New York University. We are all proud of her and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in the Big Apple.
As the Summer of 2018 started to really heat up, Ducati came to Denver to show our customers all the fun that could be had on a Ducati Scrambler. The Scrambler school bus showed up just in time to participate in the Colorado Crush Mural Festival. So while people toured the neighborhood watching the street artists create amazing murals, Team Erico was busy putting people on Scrambler test rides. It was a great weekend for everyone (including Viva).
Right after the Scrambler Bus tour pulled away from Erico, John started prepping the '56 Moto Guzzi Falcone for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride while the Boss Lady got to work making sure there was coffee and pizza for all of the participants!ing Viva).
Every couple of years we get to head across the pond for the Triumph and Ducati dealer conferences. This year the Boss Lady, John, and Kurt boarded a plane for London and then Milan to check out what 2019 has in store. All we can say is WOO HOO!
As usual, we ended the year with our annual holiday bash. This year it was bottomless mimosas and brunch at the Hornet. It almost didn't happen as a car ran through the front window, but luckily our party was in the back of the house!
And as we close the doors for 2018, we want to congratulate our Service Manager, Chadwick, on his engagement. We are excited about an Erico wedding in 2019!
