For use in conjunction with a racing exhaust system to enhance performance.
Developed exclusively for racing use, this is a complete programmed to increase the volume and output of the air intake system on the TUONO 1000 (’02 – ’05), while reducing overall weight through the use of carbon fiber. The overbored throttle body provides a net increase in available power. When used in conjunction with the “Aprilia by Akrapovic” sports exhaust system, it gives a further boost to acceleration. The kit comprises: carbon fiber airbox, 57 mm throttle body, dedicated EPROM chip plus cover, throttle cables, gasket set and instruction manual.
NOTE: This accessory is reserved exclusively for motorcycles used in competitive racing on dedicated racetracks, off the public road network. It must not be used for any other purpose. This accessory must not be installed on any motorcycle used on the public roads. Installation of this accessory makes it illegal to use the motorcycle on public roads. Subsequent use of the motorcycle on public roads renders the user liable to prosecution.
